Privacy Policy for Apps
How our mobile applications handle your information — in short, they do not collect it
In short: Current does not collect your data.
The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers. Everything you enter — your pay rate, your shift hours, your work history — is stored only on your own device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Who We Are
Current is developed and published by Webnation AB, a company registered in Sweden. For any question about this policy, contact us at info@webnation.se
Information the App Stores on Your Device
To do its job, Current saves the following on your device only:
- Your salary settings (hourly or monthly pay, overtime multiplier, working days)
- Your shift schedule and break times
- Your currency and display preferences (time format, theme, animation, haptics, sound)
- Your recorded work history — the days you have worked and what you earned
- Any custom value units you create (for example, the price of a coffee)
- The state of a shift currently in progress
This information is written to the app's private storage area, which other apps on your device cannot read. It never leaves your device through the app.
Information We Collect
None. We do not collect, receive, store, process, sell, or share any personal data. Specifically, the app contains:
- No user accounts, sign-up, or login
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers
- No crash-reporting service
- No location access
- No access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or files
- No third-party software development kits that transmit data
Current works fully offline. It does not send your information anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to send it — we operate no servers for this app.
Device Backups
Android offers a system-level backup feature. If you have enabled backups in your device settings, your operating system may include Current's stored data in your personal backup — for example, to your own Google account — so that your settings and history can be restored if you change device. This backup is created and controlled by you and your device manufacturer or operating system provider, and is governed by their privacy policy. We have no access to it and receive nothing from it. You can disable device backups in your Android settings at any time.
Permissions the App Requests
Current requests only two permissions:
- Vibration — to provide the haptic feedback you can switch on or off in Settings.
- Network access — a standard technical permission included by the app framework. The app does not use it to send or receive your data.
Current does not request access to your location, microphone, camera, contacts, storage, or any other sensitive permission.
Children
Current is a work and pay tracking tool intended for a general audience. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects no personal data from children.
Your Rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability over personal data held about you. Because Webnation AB holds no data about you in connection with this app, there is no such data for us to provide, correct, or erase.
You remain in full control of the information stored on your device: you can change or clear it in the app, and uninstalling Current permanently deletes all of its stored data from your device.
Changes to This Policy
If a future version of the app changes how information is handled, we will update this page and revise the last-updated date above before that version is released. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
